Remind101 is a new text messaging services that I will use this year to contact families that are subscribed about classroom news and reminders. Students will still be primarily responsible for writing classroom news and test dates in their agendas and sharing this information with their parents. Both students and parents may sign up for these text message alerts if they choose. This secure service does not share phone numbers (mine or yours), but I will be able to see the names of those that have subscribed and send group messages by class.
